Striker Manasa Levaci scored the lone goal in the 6th minute of the first spell.
The U23s under the guidance of Labasa Sangam College teacher Ranjan Sharma proved more fitter and consistent against their superior opponents who were without the likes of Roy Krishna, Pita Bolaitoga, Amit Kanhaiya, Maciu Dunadamu, Samuela Kautoga and inspirational captain Taniela Waqa."
