"John Grappone, the patriarch of a family known in the Concord area as much for its philanthropy as its eponymous empire of automobile dealerships, died yesterday at the age of 92.
A lifelong Concord resident, he died shortly after 1 a.m. at the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association's Hospice House, several weeks after a fall, according to his granddaughter, Gina Grappone."
