"THE government will rebuild the collapsed Kartanegara Bridge, which killed dozens of people on Nov. 26, even while more were reported to still be missing, a government official said yesterday.
The bridge over the Mahakam River in the province of East Kalimantan collapsed causing a number of vehicles to fall into the river and killing at least 21 people.
"Members of the House of Representatives, East Kalimantan provincial government officials and the Public Works Ministry have agreed to soon discuss reconstruction of the bridge," Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare Agung Laksono said."
