"National Eight killed in Mbarara bus accident

Eight people have been confirmed dead and several others left nursing major injuries after a passenger bus swerved off a highway in Mbarara district.
The accident occured at Kayanja, Sanga in the western district of Uganda.
The Western bus Reg.No UAE 896U swerved off the road before overturning several times, leaving most of the onboard passengers' legs and arms chopped off.
Rumanyika James, OC station Sanga police told New Vision on phone that with the help of the residents, they are using the pangas and other tools to try save some passengers still alive"
