 Montefiore Medical Center's Dr. Andrew Wollowitz, who saved a 22-year old dancer during a performance.
 "It almost sounds like the old joke: Is there a doctor in the house?
But when a 22-year-old dancer collapsed at a recent performance, the answer was gravely serious.
Andrew Wollowitz, a director of emergency medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, was sitting in the audience and realized something was terribly wrong about 10 minutes into the piece.
“Stop the show!” the doctor recalled someone shouting at the Baryshnikov Arts Center. “Call 911!”

 "Fans bidding in a charity online auction to buy a teacup used once by pop diva Lady Gaga had offered more than four million yen ($50,000) by Tuesday, with five days left before the hammer falls.
The china cup and saucer set was used by the star at a press conference in Tokyo three months after the massive tsunami of March last year swamped a large stretch of coastline.
Lady Gaga told reporters at the time that she would auction the cup, marked with her lipstick and bearing the Japanese message "We pray for Japan" along with the star's autograph.
All the money raised will be used to help young Japanese artists who want to study in the United States."

"Fiji Football Association will hear Suva's protest against Labasa during the Fiji FACT in Nausori next weekend.
The Capital City side filed a protest against Labasa following its goal-less draw in the National Football League a fortnight ago.
The Whites claim that Labasa fielded Manasa Levaci, a player who previously played club football in Suva and did not obtain a proper release before joining the Babasiga Lions.
Fiji FA chief executive officer Bob Kumar said they have informed the two parties and will be holding a protest meeting during the tournament.
"The board will hold a special meeting during the tournament in Nausori and will come up with a decision. We saw it fit to call a meeting then because both sets of officials will be present in the tournament."
