"A UFO has captured the attention of thousand of Peruvians today, after Congressman Renzo Reggiardo and his film crew captured footage of a purple floating object in the sky over Miraflores, Lima in Peru on February 10, 2015.
According to Peruthisweek Reggiardo had just begun filming for his program “Alto al crimen” when his camera man got distracted by something floating in the distant sky. They postponed filming a few moments to take a better look at the floating object."

"Chile's Calbuco volcano has erupted for the first time in more than four decades, sending a billowing a huge ash cloud over a sparsely populated, mountainous area.

Authorities ordered the evacuation of the 1,500 inhabitants of the nearby town of Ensenada, along with residents of two smaller communities in southern Chile.

The National Mining and Geology Service issued a high alert, barring access to the area around the volcano, which lies near the cities of Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt, a little more than 620 miles south of Chile's capital, Santiago.

"For us it was a surprise," said Alejandro Verges, regional emergency director of the Los Lagos region where the eruption took place."

The IMD website, in its earthquake data for the current month (April) showed that while seven of these 16 earthquakes were significantly felt in Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, these measured from as low as 2.8 on the Richter scale in the West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya on April 9 to the 7.9 that epicentred in Pokhara in Nepal but was felt not just across northern and eastern India but even down south in Kochi and other places."
