"HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday underscored the importance for Asean to continue putting in every effort towards realising the Asean Community by 2015.
Delivering a titah at the plenary session of the 19th Asean Summit, the monarch said that Asean had done well in implementing its plan, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office yesterday.
His Majesty, however, stressed the importance for the regional bloc to continue to work hard towards the realisation of its immediate goal due in four years time and remain committed to its objectives.
The monarch added that coordination among the sectoral bodies, within and across the three pillars of the grouping, is a key factor in determining its success."
