"The research is still in first place on the internet, the social network is in second place but it is approaching at an alarming rate. Google beat Facebook as a major Internet destination this year, according to data released today by Nielsen market research. The web giant has registered 153.4 million unique visitors per month on average, compared with only 137.6 million in Facebook.
Yahoo is in third place with 130.1 million unique monthly visitors, while Microsoft’s MSN / WindowsLive / Bing in fourth place. Rounding out the top ten are another Google product, of course we talk about YouTube."
