"Amanda Earhart, a promising pop/rock singer and songwriter based in Dallas, TX, has won the December SingerUniverse “Best Vocalist Of The Month” Competition, for her performance of her song “Tell Me What You Want" (co-written by Lyn Olson). This song will be featured on her upcoming 6-song EP, which Earhart will release independently early next year (2012).
“Tell Me What You Want” is a strong blues/rock number which has a contemporary edge to it. If Kelly Clarkson or Beyonce sang a song which was more organic-sounding, it might resemble this cut. This song provides an excellent showcase for Earhart's clear, powerful vocals. Her voice is impressive throughout, particularly when it soars into a higher range later in the song. "Tell Me What You Want" was expertly produced by Lyn Olson, who played guitar, bass, keyboards and drums. Earhart also played keyboards, and sang all the vocal parts."
